After NHL teams scrambled to trim their rosters before Tuesday’s 5 PM ET deadline, the dust settled and the stress of the preseason was finally over. Many NHL teams have very new looks and there are a lot of new faces in the NHL this year. Whether it is because of the hypothetical league-wide shift away from enforcers, or to keep up with more and more young NHL-ready players, every team hopes that the new faces on their team are for the better.
