  • 2014-15 NHL Season Previews – Over the next 30 days, we will be posting a series of previews for the upcoming 2014-15 NHL season was posted yesterday. While it may be hard to believe, hockey is right around the bend. Make sure you are informed for the upcoming season! Included is a look back at the 2013-14 season, as well as an outlook and predications for the upcoming season. [Anaheim Ducks] – [Arizona Coyotes] – [Boston Bruins] – [Buffalo Sabres] – [Calgary Flames] – [Carolina Hurricanes] – [Chicago Blackhawks]
  • Should the Bruins pursue Kevin Hayes? -The Boston Bruins have been relatively quiet during the offseason – more than likely caused by their cap space issues, but some options remain. One of which is Boston College forward Kevin Hayes. The Bruins still have extensions to sign, but if there is enough cap room left over, Hayes could be an option. [TMMOTS]
  • Marian Gaborik used a Zamboni for the Ice Bucket Challenge – Paul Bissonette set the bar pretty high with his Ice Bucket Challenge video, so NHLers now have to get pretty creative for their videos. Marian Gaborik opted to use a zamboni to dump snow on him, instead of the bucket of ice water we have all become familiar with. It isn’t quite the same thing, but we’ll let it count due to the creativity. [FanSided]
  • 2014-15 NHL Affiliation Infographic – IceThetics has a great info graphic detailing all 30 NHL teams and their AHL and ECHL affiliates. Things get pretty complex at the ECHL level, as some teams have multiple affiliates, or share affiliates with other teams. [IceThetics]
