  • Has the Pittsburgh Penguins title window closed? – When Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins raised the Stanley Cup back in 2009, it appeared to be the start of a promising run of Cups for the franchise. Since then, a championship has eluded the team and it appears that their window for a championship could be closing. The Penguins still have some of the best players in the NHL on their roster, but instead of a Crosby lead dynasty, we have seen the resurgence of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Los Angeles Kings.   • KHL clup offers Teemu Selanne $10M – Teemu Selanne’s NHL days may be over, but Finnish KHL team Jokerit has offered Selanne $10M to play for them. They are even willing to cut the offer in half to $5M if he only wants to play home games. [FanSided]
