  • NHL offseason bizarro rankings - Grantland takes a look at NHL team and notes their best offseason moves, as well as their strangest decisions so far. A “bizarro rating” on a 10 point scale is then determined. [Grantland]
  • The fantasy spin on this summer’s free agent signings - Dobber Hockey is one of the best fantasy hockey sources around (I would know, I use his draft guide every season and won both of my leagues last year). Dobber also provides a fantasy column to Puck Daddy. In this edition, he takes a look at how the free agent signings have affected fantasy hockey for the 2014-15 season. [Puck Daddy]
  • Patrick Kane ‘totally happy’ with new deal - Patrick Kane took a hometown discount in order to remain with the Chicago Blackhawks (Kane’s agent believed him and Toews could have received $13.8M per), but he sounds like he wouldn’t have any other way. Kane knows that the Blackhawks are in a tough spot salary wise, making a discounted deal a necessity. That is the price one must pay to stay with a cup contender. [FanSided]
  • Tyle Seguin returns to Twitter, lets golfer tee off from groin - This is one you have to see to believe. Tyler Seguin left Twitter a year ago, deciding to focus on hockey over his social media skills. He returned to the Twitterverse on Tuesday to promote The Fourth Period Charity Golf Classic. Seguin also treated the inter webs to an Instagram video of a golfer teeing a ball off from a terrifying spot. Let’s just say this is hopefully the closest Seguin comes to “Day to day: lower body injury” this offseason. Head on over to Puck Daddy for the video. [Puck Daddy]
