- Are More Stadium Series Games Needed – Every NHL market wants to get the opportunity to host an outdoor game, and last year the NHL was willing oblige more markets than ever. It was likely a ploy to make up lost revenue from the 2012 lockout. This season, it appears the NHL has reduced the outdoor games back to just one stadium series match up and the Winter Classic.
