Stanley Cup Final Uniform Ranking

Throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Too Many Men On The Site has been doing uniform show downs for each round of the playoffs. Since we are down to two teams in the Stanley Cup Finals, a simple showdown post would be a little too brief for my liking. Instead, I decided to change the format up a little bit and do a quick ranking of all four uniforms we have seen featured in the Stanley Cup Final.

With that stated, let’s take a look at #4 on our list….

4. Los Angeles Kings (Home)

The Los Angeles Kings home set is easily the most bland uniforms in the finals. While I liked the idea of the Kings returning to their Gretzky-era colors of black, white, and silver, the overall execution of the home jersey made for a pretty mundane set. The “pencil point” logo gets lost in a sea of black on the home uniform. When the Kings dropped purple from their identity, they not only lost a color associated with the franchise, but a secondary color that added some variety to their uniforms.
