Last Night’s Results:

Noteable Noteables:

  • The Los Angeles Kings missed a prime opportunity to eliminate the Chicago Blackhawks Wednesday night, losing 5-4 in double overtime. Now the Blackhawks have new life and will be looking to force a Game 7 tonight in Los Angeles. For Chicago, their position is all too familiar. In the 2013 post-season, they trailed the Detroit Red Wings 3-1 in the Conference semi-finals. Chicago went on to win the next three games to eliminate Detroit.
  • While Chicago may feel the momentum is starting to shift in the series, the Los Angeles Kings did overcome an early Chicago lead in Game 5. Despite giving up a 4-3 lead in the third period, the Kings had several opportunities to win in the two overtime periods. Los Angeles simply had a bad start to the game and were unable to finish. Every thing else in-between was exactly what the Kings needed to do to win the game.
