Channel Surfing is Too Many Men On The Site’s quick guide to tonight’s Stanley Cup Playoffs action, as well as any other interesting broadcasts in the world of hockey. Included is a list of the scheduled games, game notes, as well as a pregame warm up song.

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Columbus Blue Jackets 7:00 PM NBCSN [ Series: PIT 3-2 ]

Colorado Avalanche @ Minnesota Wild 9:00 PM CNBC [ Series: COL 3-2 ]

San Jose Sharks @ Los Angeles Kings NBCSN [ Series: SJ 3-2 ]

Last Night’s Results:

Philadelphia Flyers 2 New York Rangers 4 [ Series: NYR 3-2 ]

St. Louis Blues 1 Chicago Blackhawks 5 [ Series: Chicago Wins In 6 ]

Anaheim Ducks 5 Dallas Stars 4 (OT) [ Series: Anaheim Wins In 6 ]

Noteable Noteables:

  • The Pittsburgh Penguins will attempt to eliminate the Columbus Blue Jackets, but they will have to do it in front of the 5th Line in Columbus where they last blew a three goal lead to lose 4-3. Pittsburgh looked sound defensively and in the crease in Game 5, which they won 2-1. If the Penguins are able to pull off the win, they will go on to play the winner of the Philadelphia and New York series. [NHL.com]
  • The Colorado Avalanche have a chance to eliminate the Minnesota Wild on the road tonight. The Wild have played considerably better at home, so Colorado will have their work cut out for them. Minnesota is looking at tonight like Games 3 and 4, when they were down 2-0 and Colorado was dominating play in the series. Two games later, Minnesota had two wins and an even series. [NHL.com]
  • Perhaps the third time will be the charm for the San Jose Sharks, who will once again try to finish their series with the Los Angeles Kings. San Jose was going for the sweep in Game 4, but now the Kings have won two in a row and are threatening to force a Game 7 tonight. [NHL.com]
