As we approach the NHL Playoffs we will be posting a weekly update on the standings and which teams are close to qualifying or missing out on the 2013-14 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Metropolitan

Wild Card

Bubble

  • Washington (81 points)
  • Toronto (80 points)
  • New Jersey (77 points)

Eliminated:

  • Buffalo
  • Florida

Notes:

  • The New Jersey Devils are mathematically alive, but will need to run the table and also get some help from other teams if they hope to capture the last Wild Card spot in the East.
  • The Columbus Blue Jackets and Philadelphia Flyers have a big showdown this Thursday. Columbus trails the Flyers in the standings by 4 points, but depending on how things go in the days preceding Thursday, it could have serious playoff implications.
