  • Tuesday is a big day for the Metropolitan Division playoff race. With the exception of the Tampa Bay Lightning, every Metro team currently in the playoff picture is in action. The Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Carolina Hurricanes; Columbus will try to solidify their hold on a playoff spot, and Carolina will attempt to crawl back into the picture.
  • The Toronto Maple Leafs currently hold the third spot in the Atlantic Division. They have a big match up Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings, who are trying to get back in a playoff position.
  • On Friday, the Columbus Blue Jackets will take on the New York Rangers in a big Metropolitan Division battle. The two teams start the week tied with 76 points, so this will be a big game for the playoff race.
