San Jose Sharks @ Buffalo Sabres 7:00 PM [ Preview ]

Phoenix Coyotes @ Colorado Avalanche 9:00 PM [ Preview ]

St. Louis Blues @ Anaheim Ducks 10:00 PM [ Preview ]

Minnesota Wild @ Vancouver Canucks 10:00 PM [ Preview ]

Noteable Noteables

  • For the third time in the last four nights, the Buffalo Sabres are the main 7 PM game. Their season may be effectively over, but we sure have been seeing a lot of them since the NHL returned from the Olympic break. As we inch closer to the trade deadline, everyone is waiting for the Ryan Miller shoe to drop. Meanwhile, the visiting San Jose Sharks are expected to be pretty quiet at the deadline.
  • Two of the best teams in the West square off tonight: the St. Louis Blues and the Anaheim Ducks. The Blues will attempt to stop Anaheim from sweeping the three game series between the two teams. In the previous two games, Anaheim has outscored by a combined score of 8-4. Both teams are expected to make a fun in the playoffs, so tonight could serve as a preview to that action. [ NHL.com ]

Best Dressed:

For the second time this week the best dressed game will involve the Minnesota Wild, who are on the road in Vancouver. I’m not the biggest fan of Vancouver’s logo, but the blue and green makes for one of the nicer jerseys in the NHL. Cross your fingers that they are wearing their alternate, which is pretty much perfect.

TMMOTS Pregame Warm Up Song:

Alkaline Trio – The Torture Doctor

No connection between tonight’s games and the pregame warm up song, was actually listening to the Alkaline Trio while writing today’s Channel Surfing post. This song’s chorus will get stuck in your head all day.
