Tim Murray has not been the Buffalo Sabres general manager for too long now, but it seems as if he is knee deep in trade talks. Not only has there been rumor’s about Ryan Miller being shipped away, interest is now growing for Matt Moulson.
More than a dozen teams have contacted the Sabres about Matt Moulson. A lock to be moved before deadline, if not a lot sooner.

You read that right, 12 teams are potentially interested in the talented left winger. Moulson is a proven goal scorer, all he needs is a center that can get him the puck, which was proven during his time with the New York Islanders. Playing on the wing of John Tavares was probably one of the best things that happened to Moulson, not saying he can’t score otherwise.
Moulson has only scored 9 goals with the Sabres in 40 games played, but he was a 30+ goal scorer for three straight years before the lockout shortened season. You have to think that the Los Angeles Kings are one of the teams interested in Moulson’s scoring touch, since they are in need of scoring – Moulson actually started his career for the Kings, so there is also some ties to the organization.
Moulson, 30 years old, was drafted in the 9th round of the 2003 NHL entry draft, and has played in 373 NHL games, scoring 133 goals and adding 124 assists for 257 total points in his career.
