There have been quite a few monumental moments this season in regards to players hitting milestones in their career, specifically in goals scored. There is also a lengthy list of players who are itching to reach a particular achievement, and could potentially do it this season. Five players this season have arrived at their milestone marker, and as mentioned, there are several players on the cusp of accomplishing a milestone.

Mike Ribeiro scored his 200th goal this season. More known to assist on a goal rather than score, Riberio has played in 840 NHL games and has tallied 648 in his career so far. His first goal came in the 1999-2000 season while playing for the Montreal Canadiens.

David Clarkson scored his 100th goal this season. Clarkson played for the New Jersey Devils for most of his career, but has since been moved on to playing for his home town team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. In 462 games played he has accumulated 100 goals, 72 assists, for 172 total points.

Patrik Berglund scored his 100th goal this season. Drafted in 2006, Berglund became a regular on the St. Louis Blues roster during the 2008-2009 season. Since then he has played in 409 NHL games, scored 100 goals, and added 110 assists for the Blues.

Wayne Simmonds scored his 100th goal this season. Simmonds made his NHL debut for the Los Angeles Kings in the 2008-2009 season, but has since moved on to play for the Philadelphia Flyers. In 423 NHL games played, he has scored 100 goals and added 114 assists.

Andrew Cogliano scored his 100th goal this season. Drafted in 2005 by the Edmonton Oilers, Cogliano scores his first goal in the 2007-2008 season – he has since joined the Anaheim Ducks. Cogliano has played 515 NHL games, and has scored 100 goals, and has 126 assists.
