Kevan Miller has been a solid defenseman thus far for the Boston Bruins. Due to the brutal injury Dennis Seidenberg has suffered, the Bruins were bound to make some changes on the blue line. The changes have begun.
It was announced today that the Boston Bruins have signed 26-year old defenseman Kevan Miller to a two year one-way contract through the 2015-2016 season.
Miller will count as a $800,000 cap hit per season, which is quite generous.
Kevan Miller has spent his last three seasons playing with the Providence Bruins. Miller also spent four seasons playing hockey for the University of Vermont.
Miller has appeared in 16 games to date this season for the Bruins and has recorded one goal and one assist as well as 7 penalty minutes. Miller averages 16:73 minutes of ice time per game.
