After an unusual flurry of injuries to NHL goaltenders as the year 2013 winded down, many of them started coming back a week into 2014. Names such as Jonathan Quick, Corey Crawford, Sergei Bobrovsky, and Jimmy Howard are slowing regaining their top form, while slumping goalies like Henrik Lundqvist are picking up the pace. Turn the page to see who came on top of my NHL Goaltender Rankings. The top goalie is a surprise, as no one would have expected him to be on top before the season started. The rankings are based on their play from the past 2-3 weeks, as well as their projected play for the next 2-3 weeks. Their Dec. 19 rankings are in brackets.
