Johnny Boychuk Leaves Ice on Stretcher

Johnny Boychuk left the Boston Bruins game against the Montreal Canadiens on a stretcher after a hit from Max Pacioretty. Boychuk went down immediately after the check and remained on all fours for several minutes before get stretchered on the ice. Pacioretty was assessed a minor for boarding on the play.

The hit from Pacioretty was pretty dirty and I wouldn’t be surprised if the league took a second look at it. Pacioretty’s elbow went into the back of Boychuk’s neck and crashed his head into the boards. I wouldn’t be surprised if Boychuk came out of this with a concussion. Boychuk also seemed to be holding his arm but the fact that he was on all fours rules out an arm injury. What do you think? Should Pacioretty be suspended? How long will Boychuk be out for?
