NHL Injury Update: Leafs, Hurricanes, Koivu, Nabokov

Here is your NHL injury update for November 18:

Tyler Bozak returned to practice today. He has been out of the Toronto Maple Leafs line up with a hamstring injury since late October.

Mark Fraser also returned to Leafs practice today but left early. He sustained a lower body injury during the first period of Saturday’s game.

Jeff Skinner returned to Carolina Hurricanes practice today but will not be in the line up tonight against the Boston Bruins.

Alexander Semin will also be out of the Hurricanes line up tonight. He has an upper body injury as a result of a hit during Saturday’s game.

Cam Ward will be starting goalie for the Hurricanes tonight. He has been out of the line up since he sustained a lower body injury on October 24.

Saku Koivu could return to the Anaheim Ducks line up tonight. He has been out with a concussion since October 27 and as of right now is a game time decision.

Evgeni Nabokov has been placed on the New York Islanders injured reserve after hurting his groin on Saturday. He is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks.
