NHL Injury Update: Tavares, Rozsival, Getzlaf, Nash, Quick


Here is your NHL injury update for November 13:

John Tavares missed practice today after leaving last night’s New York Islanders game against the Nashville Predators. He left the game after banging his hip falling into the boards. There is still no official word on his status.

Michal Rozsival returned to Chicago Blackhawks practice today sporting a full cage. He took a puck to the face three days ago while on the bench during a game. He is expected to return to line up tomorrow night.

Ryan Getzlaf is expected to miss his third straight game tomorrow with an upper body injury. He returned to Anaheim Ducks practice today but only skated for 10 minutes.

Rick Nash returned to New York Rangers practice today with a no-contact jersey. He is confident that all his concussion symptoms are behind him.

Jonathan Quick will be returning to Los Angeles today for medical evaluation after leaving last night’s game with a lower body injury. The Los Angeles Kings have recalled Martin Jones from the AHL to back up Ben Scrivens while Quick is injured.
