NHL Injury Update: Bozak, Ward, Getzlaf, Ehrhoff, Whitney, Coyotes

Here is your NHL injury update for November 12:

Tyler Bozak skated for the first time since injuring his hamstring on October 25. He skated for 25 minutes prior to the start of Toronto Maple Leafs practice.

Cam Ward has made great progress on his lower body injury and may be healthy enough to dress as a back up for the Carolina Hurricanes this weekend.

Ryan Getzlaf will miss his second straight game for the Anaheim Ducks tonight. He is listed as day-to-day and is expected to practice with the team tomorrow.

Christian Ehrhoff will be returning to the Buffalo Sabres line up. He has been out with a lower body injury.

Ray Whitney has been placed on injured reserve by the Dallas Stars with a lower body injury. Travis Morin has been recalled to replace him.

Martin Hanzal and Radim Vrbata will be game time decisions for the Phoenix Coyotes to play in tonight’s game. Vrbata is less likely to play with his lower body injury than Martin Hanzal who’s injury is undisclosed.
