NHL Injury Update: Skinner, Bolland, Emelin, Franzen

Here is your NHL injury update for November 11:

Jeff Skinner is still a couple of weeks away from returning to the Carolina Hurricanes line up. He has been out with an upper body injury since October 24 when he was injured in a game against the Minnesota Wild.

Dave Bolland will be on crutches for another month. There is still no time line on the on his return to the Toronto Maple Leafs line up and at this point in time his foot is so bandaged and swollen he is unable to do anything physical.

Alexei Emelin has been medically cleared to play. He could return to the Montreal Canadiens line up as early as this weekend. He hasn’t played yet this season as he has been recovering from off season knee surgery.

Johan Franzen could return to the Detroit Red Wings line up tomorrow from his upper body injury.
