NHL Injury Update: Devils, Downie


Here is your NHL injury update for November 3:

Ryane Clowe has yet to start skating with the New Jersey Devils he has been out since October 13 with a head injury. He has been doing off ice workouts and says he is feeling better but is not yet 100 percent.

Travis Zajac will not be in the Devils line up tonight when they face the Minnesota Wild, he is suffering from an ankle injury. Zajac’s former team mate Zach Parise joked that Zajac was missing the game because he was too nervous to face him.

Patrik Elias will also be out of the Devils line up tonight. This will be the second straight game he will miss with an undisclosed injury.

Steve Downie has been released from the hospital and Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said that he is doing well. Downie is listed as out indefinitely with a concussion.
