Here is your NHL injury update for November 2:
Tyler Bozak has been placed on long term injured reserve for the lower body injury he sustained on October 26. There is no timeline on his expected return to the Toronto Maple Leafs line up.
Nikolai Kulemin has been activated off injured reserve and is expected to play in the Leafs game against the Vancouver Canucks tonight.
Steve Downie‘s injury is only a bad concussion not a broken orbital bone as previously reported. Philadelphia Flyers GM Paul Holmgren has denied the orbital bone report.
Vincent Lecavalier‘s prognosis has improved. He is now expected to return to the Flyers line up on Tuesday when they take on the Carolina Hurricanes.
Alex Ovechkin will not be in the Washington Capitals line up tonight. He is still suffering from a lower body injury.
Beau Bennett is set to return to Pittsburgh Penguins practice next week.
