NHL Injury Update: Flyers, Hall, Boyle, Schneider, Eriksson

Here is your NHL injury update for November 2:

Steve Downie will remain in hospital for one more night after suffering a facial fracture in a fight last night. There is no timeline on his return to the Philadelphia Flyers line up. Vincent Lecavalier is also out of the Flyers line up. He will miss at least a couple of weeks due to a variety of facial injuries resulting from last night’s brawl.

Taylor Hall will be travelling with the Edmonton Oilers on their next road trip and should be back in the line up by the end of it. The trip will start Tuesday and end next Sunday.

Dan Boyle will be back in the San Jose Sharks line up tonight. Matt Irwin will be a healthy scratch to make a place for him.

Cory Schneider says he is ready to return to the New Jersey Devils line up soon. It is unclear whether his return will be tonight.

Loui Eriksson participated in Boston Bruins morning skate today for the first time since suffering a concussion on October 23 as a result of a hit from John Scott of the Buffalo Sabres.
