NHL Injury Update: Handzus, Scuderi, Coyle, Selanne

Here is your NHL injury update for October 30:

Michal Handzus will not be returning to the Chicago Blackhawks line up this weekend he is also doubtful to skate for the next couple of days.

Rob Scuderi underwent surgery today to repair his broken ankle. There is no date set as of now as to when he will return to the Pittsburgh Penguins line up.

Charlie Coyle is set to return to the Minnesota Wild line up this Friday when the Wild take on the Montreal Canadiens. Stephane Veilleux has  been placed on waivers to free up a roster spot for Coyle.

Teemu Selanne flew home today to undergo oral surgery following a high stick from Luke Schenn during last night’s Anaheim Ducks game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Selanne is expected to be out for two weeks following the surgery.
