NHL Injury Update: Lupul, Scuderi, Moen, Gagner

Here is your NHL injury Update for October 29:

Joffrey Lupul participated in the full Toronto Maple Leafs practice yesterday but coach Randy Carlyle said that he looked to be labouring through it. It is still unclear as to whether Lupul will make his return to the lineup tonight.

Rob Scuderi has been diagnosed with a broken ankle and will require surgery. There is no timetable on when his surgery will be or on when he is expected to return to the Pittsburgh Penguins line up.

Travis Moen is expected to be out of the Montreal Canadiens line up for at least a week. It has been confirmed that the injury he sustained in Saturday’s game against the San Jose Sharks was not merely a cut but a minor facial fracture.

Sam Gagner is expected to make his return to the Edmonton Oilers line up tonight. He has been out since the preseason with a jaw injury caused by a stick to the face administered by Zack Kassian of the Vancouver Canucks.
