NHL Injury Update: Penguins, Leafs, Hurricanes, Jets, Boyle, Kronwall

It has been reported that James Neal‘s upper body injury is one that should have him out for 4-6 weeks. He has already been out of the Pittsburgh Penguins line up for two weeks so it could be a little while more before we see his return. Also there is no timetable on the return of Kris Letang.

Nikolai Kulemin is still wearing a walking boot so will not be in the Toronto Maple Leafs lineup anytime soon. James van Riemsdyk‘s injury has been reported to be back spasms, he did not skate yesterday. James Reimer had a headache after he was hit last night but should be able to practice today.

Tim Gleason could be back in the Carolina Hurricanes lineup next Thursday. A possible return for Anton Khudobin and Elias Lindholm could also happen next week.

The Winnipeg Jets could see the return of Evander Kane tonight. He, Bryan Little and Jim Slater are all day-to-day.

The San Jose Sharks will not know the full extent of Dan Boyle‘s injury for a few more days.

The Detroit Red Wings have released that Niklas Kronwall has a mild concussion.
