Rostislav Klesla Injured in Preseason Game

Last night’s win over the Los Angeles Kings was bittersweet for the Phoenix Coyotes. The reason for this being the injury of Rostislav Klesla during the game. Klesla was taken off the ice by a stretcher after taking a hit by Jordan Nolan of the Kings. Nolan was involved in a bit of a tussle with Martin Hanzal after the hit which resulted in 4 minutes of penalties for Nolan. The real shenanigans started after Nolan left the box which caused 4 players (including Nolan) to get 10 minute misconducts and everybody’s favourite twitter personality Paul Bissonnette to get a game misconduct for leaving the bench.

As for Klesla, he was alert when he left the ice and even waved at the crowd from the stretcher. He is still being evaluated and not much is known on the extent of his injury.
