The excitement is starting to set in and we are deeply enthralled in the free agent signings and the new looks all our teams will have this coming season. Fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs have a lot of new things to look forward to. The signing of David Clarkson, the resigning of Tyler Bozak, and the trade for Jonathan Bernier but there is one piece of the Leafs puzzle that is still a question mark: Nazem Kadri.

Kadri is currently a restricted free agent and as of now he has not been resigned. The question Leafs fans have to ask themselves now is: Is it time to panic yet? Kadri is set to be a key part of the team this coming season, so shouldn’t his deal be one of the first figured out? Is it too early for us to be worrying about this?
