The Vancouver Canucks traded goaltender Cory Schneider to the New Jersey Devils for the 9th pick in the draft.

San Jose moved up two spots from 20 to 18 by swapping picks and adding another pick as incentive with Detroit.

Columbus grabbed New York’s 19th pick in the deal that sent Rick Nash to the Rangers.

Calgary got the 22nd pick from the St. Louis Blues in the deal that involved Jay Bouwmeester.

The Blue Jackets also got the 27th pick from the Los Angeles Kings in the trade with Jeff Carter last season.

The Flames also acquired the 28th pick from the Pittsburgh Penguins in the deal that sent Jarome Iginla to Pittsburgh.

The Dallas Stars got a first round pick from the Boston Bruins for Jaromir Jagr.
