The Bruins and the Blackhawks got a well timed two day break in between game one and two after playing over 110 minutes of hockey Wednesday night in Chicago. Andrew Shaw netted the game winner to give the Blackhawks the lead in the series after trailing 3-1 in the third period.
This year’s final two teams are match made in heaven. Game one was physical and fast paced. And the fact that both teams strapped down going into overtime just made it even better. Do you know what’s better than watching overtime playoff hockey? Not much, but double overtime definitely takes it. Well, what about triple? Who doesn’t want to watch more hockey when two teams are playing that well?
So, who do you see taking game two tonight? Will Chicago take advantage of home ice and go up on the seemingly favored Bruins 2-0? Or do you think Boston will come out and match Chicago’s intensity and tie the series up and give themselves home ice advantage the rest of the series? I believe Boston will come out flying and be able to take game two to keep the series from getting away from them.
