The NHL 14 Cover Vote has reached the finals and their is one thing that is certain: a goalie will be gracing the cover this year. There has not been a goalie on the cover since NHL ’97. That goalie was John Vanbiesbrouck  of the Florida Panthers. Which goalie will it be this year Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils or Sergei Bobrovski of the Columbus Blue Jackets?

Brodeur beat out Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk to earn his place in the finals. This is interesting because if Brodeur wins he will be  the first Devil to grace the cover since Scott Stevens, who shared the NHL 96 cover with Steve Yzerman, captain of the Red Wings at the time. Bobrovsky beat out New York Islanders forward John Tavares. If Bobrovsky wins he will be the first Blue Jacket ever to be on the cover. Who do you think will win the opportunity to grace the cover?
