Most Entertaining NHL Players to Follow on Twitter

When you go on twitter there are so many people to follow it is hard to decide just who is worth hitting that follow button. If you are into hockey the decision is even tougher. Some guys are really boring tweeters, and most don’t tweet very much at all. To help you all out I have made a list of who I think are the most entertaining NHL players to follow. Please note that some of these players tweet things not suitable for children.

1. Paul Bissonnette (@BizNasty2point0)

BizNasty is a must follow for any hockey fan, or just person in general. He plays “left bench” for the Phoenix Coyotes and is by far more famous for his twitter antics off the ice than his actual play. He loves making jokes at his own expense and loves to chirp back at those who chirp him.

2. Dustin Penner (@DustinPenner25)

Penner is just funny. He is always tweeting about the antics him and the rest of the Los Angeles Kings participate in. He is also really engaged with his fans. He often tweets back and has twitter Q and A’s which is something that I really appreciate players doing. A tweet back is something really simple that really makes a person’s day.

3. Logan Couture (@Logancouture), Jason Demers (@jasondemers5), and Brent Burns (@Burnzie88)

The reason these 3 are grouped together is that when they tweet each other it is hilarious. Since they are all on the San Jose Sharks they love to chirp each other which makes for some pretty funny interactions. Each guy is pretty funny on his own too.

4. Tyler Bozak (@Bozie42)

Bozak does some really funny stuff. He is huge video game buff particularly Call of Duty and tweets about it regularly, mostly during the off season. My favourite thing he does is after most Toronto Maple Leafs wins he tweets a single hashtag that usually some of his teammates add to. He has a lot of good back and forth with James van Riemsdyk (@JVReemer21).

5. Scott Hartnell (@Hartsy19)

Last but certainly not least is Scott Hartnell. If you have seen any videos of Hartnell’s off ice antics you know this guy is almost incapable of being serious, which makes him a fantastic follow on twitter.  If you are familiar with him at all you know exactly what he is like and exactly what to expect from this account.

While your following people on twitter don’t forget to follow me (@kcapp22) and the site (@TMMotS) or like us on facebook. Also let me know if I’ve forgotten anyone on this list in the comment box below!
