Providence Bruins vs Hershey Bears
The Providence Bruins look really good this season they had two players named to the all rookie team this season. One was Ryan Spooner who is currently their leading scorer with 17 goals and 40 assists he also has a +14 which isn’t too shabby. Their goalie is the real advantage the Bruins have though. Niklas Svedberg was also named to the all rookie team. He is 2nd in the league for wins with 37 and he is 3rd in the league for save percentage with 0.925. Having a good goalie is a must if you want to make it far in the playoffs and the Bruins have that.
I wouldn’t count out the Bears just yet though. their top scorer Jeff Taffe is 2nd in the league for points with 71 and 1st in the league for assists with 53. Also they have a lot of players they have acquired through trades and waivers who haven’t played many games with the team (8 new players not counting junior call ups). This new blood could be an advantage or disadvantage depending on whether they have their chemistry figured out yet.
