Injury Update: Crosby, Talbot, Foligno, Zetterberg, and Samuelsson

Sidney Crosby is out indefinitely after having surgery for a broken jaw according to the Pittsburgh Penguins twitter account. Penguins general manager Ray Shero said via twitter there is no sign of a concussion though they will continue to monitor him for it. He also said Crosby’s jaw is not wired shut which is a good sign in terms of how long his recovery will be.

Mikael Samuelsson, who has only played in 4 games this season due to injury, left last night’s game with an upper body injury.
