Winnipeg Jets star forward Evander Kane, has yet to register a point in 3 games while playing in the KHL for Dinamo Minsk, and thats leading to some heavy criticism of Kane by the Dinamo Minsk head coach. The news of the coach’s statements came about yesterday from Pavel Lysenkov via Twitter.

In Kane’s most recent game for Dinamo Minsk he only had 11 minutes of ice time and afterwards his coach said Kane is “not KHL ready” and is “out of shape”.

The news is especially troubling for the Winnipeg Jets franchise and its fans as Kane isn’t the first Winnipeg Jet to make headlines this offseason. Cornerstone defenseman Dustin Byfuglien has had his share of issues off the ice, from his boating incident to the constant questions about his weight. He’s constantly criticized and sometimes rightfully so.

Then we have the Jets “franchise” goaltender, Ondrej Pavelec, who struggles at times in the NHL but sometimes has flashes of brilliance. I should mention he is getting lit up like a Christmas tree currently overseas and actually got pulled from yesterdays game after giving up 4 goals in two and a half periods of work (the backup goalie was even worse and gave up two goals in the last 5 minutes so Pavelec doesn’t have to worry about job security) . Not bad for a guy the Jets just gave $19.5 million to over the next 5 years.
