Jagr’s Agent Says The Montreal Canadiens Are Interested In Signing His Client

André Cyr of Canoe.ca reports, Jaromir Jagr has not entered into any agreement with a Russian team and he maintains his strong interest in pursuing his future career in the Montreal Canadiens uniform.

According to the report, Jagr is in talks with four KHL clubs and he is closer to signing with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL. However, Jagr’s European agent has said that the  Canadiens are interested in acquiring the services of his client.

Jagr, 39, will most likely be signed with a team by the end of next week. I believe he will sign in the KHL, but there is a slim chance we could see him in the NHL.

Totally the wrong fit for the Habs and potentially a dressing room nightmare but if he really is only asking $3-4 Million then how could you say no?

Because 3-4 million is a lot for Jagr in todays cap era.. I believe he will sign in the KHL where there is more money for him.
