Report: Add Red Wings,Penguins and Rangers, Along With Habs, To Jagr Sweepstakes

Yeah, yeah…. I understand that this rumor is hard to believe, but i got some more fuel to add to the fire.

News talk radio, CJAD reports that Jaromir Jagr would consider Montreal Canadiens as a list a teams that he would play for. They also mention the connection between Jagr and Canadiens forward Tomas Plekanec. The connection? they both train together in the off-season.

Source also tells CJAD that the Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers, could show interst this off-season.

Sources suggest to CJAD that Detroit and 2 of Jagr’s former NHL stops, Pittsburgh and the Rangers, could show interst for 2011-12.

GM Pierre Gauthier does not comment on “speculation” but Jagr is by some accounts in the best shape he’s been in for 5 years.
